Hyderabad : The totally revamped Telangana government’s official web portal is ready for its launch and will be brought into use after the completion of security audit. IT department officials said that the new portal will have comprehensive information constructed with the international guidelines. It will replace the existing portal. Telangana government had a portal of its own, from the appointed date.
However, it was not updated regularly as the officials want a new portal with new features and a new look. The present portal available on the internet was a continuation of the erstwhile combined AP portal. It was put on the net as a stop gap arrangement during the bifurcation period. The government wanted total revamp of it so that it could be claimed as the new government’s work. IT officials said that the new portal would have integration with the social media, disable friendly features and comprehensiveness.
