Hyderabad : The aspirants of government jobs, to be recruited by the Telangana State Public Service Commission, want recording of interviews to fulfill the obligations set by the Right to Information Act. They made an appeal in this regard to the TSPSC officials. The aspirants said that this would prevent malpractices in the interviews and would impart justice to the job seekers.
RTI activist V Madhubabu said that many reports have appeared in the past in the media with adverse comments on the process of selection of candidates for various jobs, particularly the way the interviews were being conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission. He said that the interviews used to leave no trail of a record to recall what has transpired between the four walls. He said that there was no record on how the interview has been conducted, what questions were asked and how a candidate performed.
