Hyderabad : Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Sunday called upon the media organisations of the State to don the role of an advisor and catalyst for development in the newly formed state and stop indulging in sensationalism. He said that there was a need for media to play a proactive role in realising the Golden Telangana state while adding that there was hardly any scope for resorting to yellow journalism.
“I am humbly appealing all media organisations not to indulge in sensationalism. It does not serve any purpose. As ours is a new state, there is a need for all media organisations to publish stories and articles related to all fields of the State to realise the dream of Bangaru Telangana. I want you to write about the challenges faced by the State in sectors like agriculture, irrigation and other sectors for the development of the state, available resources, issues which need to be focused for the state’s development.
