Hyderabad : Telangana Panchayat Raj Minister KT Rama Rao on Saturday said that their government was committed for the all-round development of the State. He said that they had identified welfare of all sections, agriculture, industrial development as their priority areas as part of their all-round development plans. The minister held a meeting with village secretaries of the department in his chambers.
Speaking on the occasion, KTR assured that the state government would not go back on joint cheque power at the village level while warning the secretaries that stern action would be taken against those found guilty of misuse of funds. The minister also said that the department was planning to hold a training programme for the village sarpanches and secretaries very soon. Speaking further, the minister said that they had taken up welfare schemes like pensions and poverty alleviation in a big way.
