Hyderabad: The Horticulture wing of University of Hyderabad (UoH) ushered in the New Year with a tree plantation drive organized under the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan on Thursday. Saplings of guava were planted in the nursery located on the University campus. UoH Pro Vice Chancellor E Haribabu launched the plantation drive by planting a few saplings.
Later, a campus walk was also organized to mark the occasion. The walk started from the Peacock Lake and ended at the Lake View Guest House. The walk has been organized for the fourth consecutive time on the New Year day.
