Hyderabad : Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced plans to reach out to the people of the State and seek their suggestions for making Hyderabad a de-congested city by taking up an interactive programme of ‘Prajalatho Mukha Mukhi’ on television very soon. This was disclosed by the chief minister during his address at the inaugural of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of the Exhibition Society here at Numaish ground.
The Chief Minister said, “Let us make Hyderabad great and the city should become truly a global city. My request is to you all, KCR cannot do anything unless you give support. Give suggestions for making the city a great city,” said Rao. Earlier chief ministers in undivided Andhra Pradesh too held interaction programmes with people using the medium of television. While, N Chandrababu Naidu used the government television Saptagiri, Y S Rajasekhara Reddy used TV9 to reach out to the people.
Chandrashekar Rao may use his family-owned television channel T News. The Chief Minister said that Hyderabad was one of the five big cities of country with cosmopolitan culture. You will find a Gujarati Gali, Sindhi colony and Joshi Wada in Hyderabad, people from Odisha had constructed a big Jagannath temple and now Bengalis want to have a huge Kali temple. The city is known for its cosmopolitan nature and Ganga Jamuni Tehzeeb,”.
