YSRCP challenges Babu
Hyderabad : The YSRCP on Sunday demanded Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to break his silence and speak out on the special status to the state besides mounting pressure on the Centre for more funds. It alleged that the silence of the CM on the special status issue indicate he was trying to mortgage the self-respect and pride of Telugu people in Delhi.“The silence of Chandrababu Naidu on the special status and Central funds shows that he is either fearing the Centre for his past deeds or has given away on a platter the self-pride of Telugu people by being silent on the core issues,” party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said while addressing a press conference in the city. He said that many aspects which were included in the State Reorganization Bill have not been honored, including the special status, setting up of steel plant, petrochemicals factory and industrial corridors.
