Yadagirigutta, the abode of Lord Laxmi Narasimha Swamy, will now be called YadadriRemaining eight surrounding hills will be developed on par with Tirumala
Yadagirigutta, the abode of Lord Laxmi Narasimha Swamy, in Nalgonda district, will hereafter be referred to as Yadadri. The Telangana government will issue orders to this effect soon. The decision was taken by Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao following a suggestion from Tridandi Srimannarayana Ramanuja China Jeeyar Swami, who accompanied the former to Yadagirigutta on Thursday to examine the development activities there.
The Chief Minister announced that the nine hills, including the abode of Lord Laxmi Narasimha Swami, would be developed and asked Jeeyer Swami to give names to all these hills.
The Jeeyar Swami named the main hill as Yadadri and said that the remaining hills would also be given names soon. During the interaction, the Chief Minister told Jeeyar Swami that 32 statues of incarnations of Lord Laxmi Narasimha Swami would be installed on the main hill.
