The Road Transport Corporation management has warned the contract drivers to join the services by Thursday afternoon. RTC has about 6,000 contract drivers and all of them are on strike. However, RTC announced reward for contract drivers who join the duties while those who don’t would be terminated.
On the other hand, the Telangana government allowed private travels in Hyderabad city while RTA has arranged about 650 private drivers and 750 private bus conductors to run RTC buses in the State. Being wedding and holidays season, RTC makes most business during this period.
