HYderabad:Home Minister Naini Narasimha Reddy on Friday apologised to TamilNadu Governor K Rosaiah for the re-marks made against latter’s son-in-law on Mallepally ITI land issue.Talking to media here at the Telangana Bhavan, Naini clarified that he made allegations against the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh based on the feedback given by the officials. “Though I accused Rosaiah of allotting one acre of land against norms to his son-in-law for running a clinic, it later proved to be wrong. I made allegation only with wrong in puts from the officials,” the home minister regretted. Naini said that he had personally apologised to Rosaiah when the latter called him.
Rosaiah called the home minister and enquired about the issue. Reddy said that he is withdrawing the remarks made against the Governor. The minister informed that he along with the Union Minister for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatraya visited Mallepally ITI. Reddy said that the union minister had proposed a skill development unit at the center by allocating funds if the State government could provide land to it. Reddy informed that the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has assured to give land and asked him to get funds from the Centre.
