Hyderabad:Charminar MLA Ahmed Pasha Quadri on Sunday appreciated the efforts of teachers in educating blind children. Speaking at the golden jubilee celebrations of Government Boys School for the Blind at Darulshifa organized by the Minority Employees Organization for the Blind, Quadri said that imparting education to children with disabilities is a tough task as it takes patience on the part of the teachers.
“The school was started with the generous donation of Nizam Mir Osman Ali Khan who wanted the disabled to get meaningful education. The alumni of this school have gone places and made both the school and their parents proud. They are a ray of hope for hundreds of children who are studying in the school now,” he said. Quadri described the completion of 75 years of the school a great achievement as the institution sustained much travails to reach this milestone.
