Telangana Jagruti president and MP of Nizamabad K Kavitha on Thursday presented Mohammad Farooq, a national level swimmer, a cheque for Rs 3 lakh to enable him to represent the country at the International masters’ swimming championship to be held at Kazan in Russia.
Mahommad Farooq, who hails from Malapalli in Nizamabad town, stood in the ninth position in the national level masters swimming championship held at Gulbarga in Karnataka. When he met Kavitha at her residence, she presented the cheque to him and wished him many more successes in his career and do the State and country proud.
