Earthquake in Pakistan
An earthquake measuring 5.5 richter scale was reported in Pakistan’s northwest region, however no loss of life or property has been reported. The epicenter of the earthquake was in Hindukush mountain ranges near Tajikistan border.
Tremors were felt at Malakand, Swat, Upper and Lower Dir regions. The locals evacuated their respective homes out of fear. In 2005 and 2013, Pakistan witnessed earthquakes of magnitudes of 7.6 and 7.7 on richter scale, which killed more than 75000 people.
